Background: The early detection of melanoma significantly affects the estimated 5-year survival rate of patients. The traditional manual visual methods used in the clinical screening suffer from clinician subjectivity, low sensitivity and specificity.
Keywords: Skin cancer; MCU; NNS; ABCDE

Background: Upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy is a common diagnostic procedure that plays central role in gastroenterology. It is a safe, accurate open access investigation for evaluation of wide range of upper GI lesions.
The study was aimed to know the diagnostic yield of upper GI endoscopy in patients with GI symptoms. We focused to investigate the prevalence, clinical features, risk factors and endoscopic findings of Barrett’s Esophagus (BE) in the studied cohort.
Keywords: Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, Barrett’s esophagus, GERD

Purpose: Ovarian Cancer (OVCA) is the gynecologic malignancy of highest lethality rate. We’ve demonstrated that HLA-DRA, HLA-DRB and CD74/Ii, which code HLADRa, HLA-DRb and invariant chain of HLA-DR complex are over expressed in OVCA and other cancers. Nevertheless, HLA-DRb is suppressed in OVCA. Furthermore, CD74/Ii might interact with NFkB, a molecule related to cellular proliferation, angiogenesis, metastasis and chemoresistance.

Ovarian cancer; HLA-DRHLA-DRβ
CD74/Ii; NFkB; Biomarker

Introduction: Carcinoid syndrome affects quality of life and prognosis of patients with neuroendocrine neoplasia. Diarrhea and flushing are the most frequent symptoms. Standard treatment of carcinoid syndrome is somatostatin analogs. However, during course of the disease, a significant proportion of patients become treatment resistant. Telotristaethyl is the first in his class medication inhibiting peripheral serotonin
synthesis, the major transmitter associated with carcinoid syndrome.
Keywords:
Carcinoid syndrome, Serotonin, Diarrhea,
Tryptophan hydroxylase, Neuroendocrine neoplasia
